The 2025 KTREX (Klamath Prescribed Fire Training Exchange) is building their team for this year. KTREX will be taking place in Happy Camp, CA this year from October 5-17. The APPLICATION IS LINKED HERE, and the deadline to apply is July 31.

Please note, everyone is welcome to fill out an application. Organizers are specifically looking to fill some critical trainer positions, specifically the following qualified positions: Situation Unit Leader, engine bosses, Safety Officer, PIO, Medical Unit leader, Plans Section Chief, Logistics Section Chief. They are also seeking: an experienced Training Specialist, single resource bosses, experienced FEMOs, FFT1s; as well as a qualified Prescribed Fire Manager. Organizers typically have sufficient FFT2 participants and are not actively recruiting more but will consider partner requests. If you do not fit the positions in bold above, you are still welcome to fill out the application, just know it may not be selected due to logistical limitations.
