Yuba-Bear Burn Cooperative
Nevada, Sierra and Yuba Counties
The Yuba-Bear Burn Cooperative is a grassroots group of landowners, fire practitioners, nonprofits, and community members dedicated to restoring beneficial fire to private lands in the Yuba and Bear River watersheds. We work together to help make prescribed fire a safe and accessible tool for private landowners in our region by volunteering on each other's properties, sharing equipment, providing training opportunities, and helping design and plan prescribed burns.
